PhotoPanel is an iOS and iPadOS app that turns any iPhone or iPad into an elegant digital picture frame. Unlike dedicated hardware picture frames, PhotoPanel requires no extra device purchase. Any older iPhone or iPad that would otherwise sit in a drawer becomes a living gallery. Photos are sourced directly from Apple Photos - including shared iCloud albums - so newly added images appear automatically without any manual synchronisation. All photo processing happens entirely on-device.
PhotoPanel offers fine-grained control over how photos are displayed: slide timing from 5 seconds to 12 hours, three transition effects, random or sequential order, an optional clock overlay, current weather information, EXIF-based date and location captions, and a built-in screensaver mode that activates and deactivates on a schedule. Live Photos are supported and played back in full.
